About Senator Chiz Escudero
Many describe as meteoric Sen. Francis Joseph "Chiz" Escudero's rise to the nation's consciousness as a leader.
A lawyer and educator by profession, Escudero first entered the realm of politics in 1998 when he was elected as representative of the 1st District of Sorsogon.
After serving three full terms at the House of Representatives, Escudero was elected to the Philippine Senate in 2007 earning the second highest number of votes.
